  • see what user generated content can do for your business
  • Discover the opportunity created by social media, how to integrate this into your website and through your online marketing scheme.

  • Learn how to create your own YouTube channel, upload your video, optimise it for search and embed it into your website.

An online content strategy is a new and emergent practice addressing the increasing complexities of content creation, delivery and distribution and management. Fresh, relevant content is required not only on your website, but your social media sites and in regular communication with your market. Coming up with content without a plan can not only be difficult to produce, it will also effect your Brand reputation and overall conversion rate. A clear and strategic plan that ties in your offline business plan with all online platforms will make execution simple and effective.

Producing effective online content requires an understanding of many current web disciplines including search engine optimisation, user experience, information architecture, web analytics as well as design and build components. This course helps Tourism Operators understand how a content strategy works and how it needs to be deployed across an organisation.
